The Lovers-Deluxe Print/Tarot Valentines Bundle
A 30 minute intuitive tarot reading using classic tarot and my own unique, hand-crafted oracle cards.

The cards are A5 size printed in the UK on high-quality, 100 per cent recycled paper.
Also included is a double sided A6 sized voucher with voucher with redemption details on one side and and Hare painting on the other.
Each voucher has a unique number which can be redeemed for a one hour reading by simply emailing me and booking a convenient time.
Readings can be conducted on Google Hangouts, FaceTime or Zoom.

This archival-quality Giclée print
comes on Haemulid German Etching 310-gram heavyweight sustainable paper.
The heavyweight, high-quality paper has a warm tone and a mottled texture which enables it to hold more ink and capture the light, ensuring strong, vibrant colours and deep blacks that are high in contrast.
Having experimented with many giclée papers I have found that this particular paper really suits the high vibrational colours of the work.
Each print is numbered and is signed in pencil by the artist.
The first limited edition run is of 100.
Prints come unframed.

About the artwork.
The majestic Swan has featured in many mythological tales, particularly in those from the Celtic pantheon, and is universally recognised as a symbol of undying love.
I called this painting of two intertwined swans ‘The Lovers’ as a reference to both the Major Arcana Tarot card of the same name and the fact these beautiful animals tend to pair for life.
Historically, the Swan has also been considered regal, has been attributed healing powers and is said to connect us to the ‘otherworld’.
The image depicts the Swan’s gracefulness, elegance and strength but also reflects how partnership with another can create balance and harmony and how two halves, united by unbreakable love, can create a whole that is strong, resilient and enduring. Swan also evokes a healing stillness at the same time as having the internal power to move forwards with grace.
I think it’s true to say that the world could do with a little more love - and a few more lovers!
The Technique
The prints are museum quality giclee prints and for this special edition are augmented with some subtle over-painting in white and metallic gold giving them a hand finish and making each one unique.
The gold is very subtle but shows up at night with soft lighting.
It’s a technique I did on a print for a very close relative recently and it’s actually quite beautiful - even if I do say so myself!
