This archival-quality A4 Giclée print
 comes on Haemulid German Etching 310-gram heavyweight sustainable paper.
 The heavyweight, high-quality paper has a warm tone and a mottled texture which enables it to hold more ink and capture the light, ensuring strong, vibrant colours and deep blacks that are high in contrast.

Having experimented with many giclée papers I have found that this particular paper really suits the high vibrational colours of the work.

 Each print is numbered and is signed in pencil by the artist.
 All profits from the sale of this print will go to Weston Hospice Care. The first limited edition run is of just 50.

About the artwork


Stag is shown here offering deep healing, strength and leadership. He is asking us to step into our unique power and live the life we are here to live - to find and live our soul's true purpose.

This painting was deeply inspired by my friend Mathew who kindly allowed me into his life and who sadly died in May 2019. I was truly humbled by the incredible kindness and care he received from Weston Hospice Care.
It was, and is, a privilege to know Mathew - a gentle man and a giant.

This image was created following a deep shamanic journey. In shamanic traditions, a journey is a dream-like meditation often facilitated using a rhythmic, hypnotic drum beat – a process known in some traditions as ‘riding the shaman’s horse’ (the shaman’s horse being the drum as a mode of transport to realms of 'otherness' or 'non-ordinary reality' to quote the visionary Carlos Castaneda).

Dedicated to memory of Mathew Of This Land, all profits from the sale of this limited edition print (there will be a first print run of just 50) will go to Weston Hospice Care.
